The Sun & Sail Club offers one of the best tennis facilities in the Saddleback Valley, which has been recently upgraded with new lighting, fencing and windscreens as well as new surfacing and new common area amenities.

The club’s Head Tennis Professional, Blair Roberts, has been with the Sun & Sail Club for ten years, teaching both adult and youth classes, as well as coaching the club’s USTA Junior Team Tennis teams.  Blair has been a competitive player since the age of 8.  He was a NCAA Division I intercollegiate scholarship athlete and ranked top-twenty in the country as a junior.

Our tennis program offers a full variety of group tennis classes for all ages and levels, including beginning players, intermediate players, advanced players, and high-level advanced players.  We also offer weekly summer tennis camps for juniors.  The junior summer tennis camps run two hours per day during the summer break, from 10am to noon.  CampCo participants can attend the summer tennis camp in addition to their CampCo activities, and will be accompanied to and from the tennis courts by CampCo counselors.

Our adult group classes are a great way to not only learn the game, but are also great cardio exercise.  Beginning classes are focused on teaching the fundamentals of the game, but beginning players will also experience the cardio benefits of tennis as even beginning players must learn to move to the tennis ball, or “cover the court.”  Intermediate and advanced classes are focused on drills and live ball games, offering an even greater cardio workout.

Whether you are a seasoned, advanced player or an absolute beginner, we would love to see you out on the courts.   Tennis is the sport for a lifetime, and we love to introduce the game to adults and juniors alike.  We have an active junior program, starting kids as young as 5 or 6 years old, many of whom Blair has continued to teach through high school age.  Blair has been the coach of several recent number one boy’s singles players for El Toro High School, a recent number one girl’s singles player for Laguna Hills High School, and multiple varsity players at high schools throughout the greater Saddleback Valley area.

As the coach of our spring and fall USTA Junior Team Tennis teams, Blair’s teams have won multiple championships or been finalists in their respective divisions.  Most recently, Blair’s 18 and under boys team qualified for the USTA Sectional Championships and traveled to Palm Desert to compete against teams from throughout Southern California.

Hope to see you on the courts!
