Saying Goodbye/Hello to our MAC Coordinator

Linda Goold has been a dedicated and valuable LFII employee for the past 12+ years. She started off at the front desk as the first friendly face that greeted so many people when they first can into the club. Then for the past 6 years she was our MAC coordinator processing all those so important MAC applications. Sadly for us (but happy for her), Aug 31st was her last day with us…but we couldn’t let her go without a farewell message… So much has occurred in my life in the last twelve and a half years while I have worked at the Sun and Sail Club. I’ve had parents, family members and lifelong friends pass away. I’ve been blessed with five beautiful grandchildren, ranging in age from five weeks to 12 years, all born while I worked here. My husband and I recently moved to Mission Viejo, to our “forever home” in the same neighborhood where all my grandchildren live.

One of the highlights of working here was meeting so many of the Lake Forest ll members that have touched my life. The MAC committee is an awesome group of volunteers and I appreciate their time! The staff here are wonderful people too and I look forward to enjoying these friendships in the future.

I worked at the front desk for 6 years and as the MAC Coordinator for 6 ½ years, where I saw so many of the faces of the community. As the MAC Coordinator, I loved the opportunity to assist many homeowners make decisions and compile plans for painting their home, changing the landscape, and or adding hardscape to their property.

Now I look forward to more time with my family, to editing my landscape into my garden, and to travel with my husband. So long!!.

Goodbye Linda…WE WILL MISS YOU!

LINDA GOOLD

Hello Linda…LFII IS LUCKY TO HAVE YOU!

LINDA WENG-TROTTER

Not to worry…the position of MAC Coordinator will remain in good hands as the reins will be turned over to Linda Weng-Trotter as of Sep 1st. LFII is indeed fortunate to have found such a capable replacement. A little about Linda (in her own words)…My family was originally from Taipei, Taiwan, and we immigrated to Orange County, California when I was 8 years old and have since become an Orange County Native.

I grew up in Orange County – went to elementary school and middle school in Newport Beach. Then our family moved to Irvine where I attended and graduated from Irvine High School. I then went on to obtain my bachelor’s degree in business from CSU Fullerton (Go Titans!)

Professionally I have 20 years of experience in Business Operations and Customer Service. My colleagues and friends will describe me as a very detailed-oriented person who is also a people- person.

My husband and our fur baby (Archie) became members here of the Lake Forest II Master Homeowners Association about 2.5 years ago and feel very fortunate to live in such a beautiful community, to have good neighbors, and be able to enjoy the Sun and Sail Club facilities and activities on the lake. My husband and I both feel strongly about contributing to making a positive impact in our community, which is one of the main reasons that I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be a part of The Lake Forest II Master Homeowners Association – Community Service Team.

Other fun facts: I am a foodie and love to travel and spend time with my family, making new friends and learning new things. LOVE animals and plants.
